Texture: This bar of soap includes coffee grounds, giving it a moderate-heavy texture (definitely one of our two most textured soaps for those that love the extra scrubbing power!)

Lather: A clean & satisfying lather

Washcloth test: Will leave brown marks on a white washcloth due to the cacao powder, but I've always had them rinse clean. That being said, if you're a fan of pristine white washcloths, I probably wouldn't recommend this bar!

Please use a well-draining soap dish with adequate airflow to ensure that your soap dries out properly between uses. Allowing your soap to sit in a puddle of water will quickly turn it to mush and shorten its lifespan significantly (and unnecessarily!).

Due to the nature of our items, we do not accept returns, but you are entitled to a full refund or replacement if your soap is somehow defective or if you’ve received the wrong item (please contact us within 3 days of receipt). One of the reasons we decided to sell our soaps is because we think they’re crazy awesome, and we’re really hoping that you will too! Approximately 20 years ago we revamped our entire lifestyle. I began by meticulously going through our foods and making the necessary changes there before moving on to... everything else. Twenty years later, I feel pretty good about our low (and loving) impact on this awesome planet earth and our home feels like the clean and safe haven it should be.

     There were many things I didn't care at all about letting go of; for every food item I ditched, I simply replaced it with a clean, vegan version that I now adore just as much. For every plastic item I gave away, I easily replaced it with a much more solid glass/stainless steel version. For every conventional cleaner I tossed, I happily replaced it with a non-toxic edition (essential oils to the rescue!). It was a slow, steady, and extremely satisfying change--one that I didn't find all that hard. But sometimes you hit a nerve, and when coffee took its turn in the spotlight? Well, let's just say Scott struggled to remain calm until the verdict was in. 

     Turns out, coffee actually has a lot of positive health benefits, and with some tweaks, Scott was thrilled when he realized it was here to stay. Fair-trade (for the workers), organic (for the planet), some cashew creamer (for the animals), and high acid content (for Scott), and he's as happy as can be. Sometimes I wonder if he loves his morning coffee more than he loves me. I'd ask, except why ask a question you don't really want to hear the answer to... ;)
