Guardian Angel (I see you) All-Natural Soap Bar
Because this design is unrepeatable, I debated whether or not to add it into the shop, but in the end, decided it was too interesting (cool?) not to. I mean, an angel silhouette is kinda neat, right? For all of the nitty gritty details on this soap bar, please visit our additional info sections :)

Story behind the name
Like any other healthy Pisces, I'm able to quite effortlessly "suspend disbelief" and keep an open mind about even the most questionable of things. I mean, just because I’ve never personally seen an elf, a fairy, or a unicorn (dang, I hope unicorns are real), doesn’t mean they can’t possibly exist. I’ve never seen a Komodo dragon either, and I’m pretty confident those beasts walk this earth with me. But while I remain open to all possibilities, I also retain a degree of healthy skepticism; in other words, I try not to let my open mind lead me into the dangerous depths of dreaded… gullibility.
I wasn’t sure what to make of astrology, so I studied it. Hard. And during the course of those courses, the evidence (found in my own life) stacked up so quickly and undeniably that I became a shameless believer. Ditto with my aromatherapy training, because as soon as those precious oils were able to heal my broken body/mind like nothing else had been able to in the prior 12+ years, I was a staunch supporter. Neither did I have any idea what to make of Bach flower essences until I enrolled in training, and now I wouldn’t live without them. And Reiki? Holy. Shit. (Excuse the language but nothing else will do.) I had no expectations when I became attuned and didn’t believe anything much would happen, at least not immediately. But to actually feel that energy coursing from my fingertips felt like magic. And since then, working with it has proved life changing and awe-inspiring. (Just ask Scott about his chronic shoulder pain that is now a thing of the past thanks to regular Reiki sessions.)
Which brings me to the subject of guardian angels. Everyone talks about them, but so what? My experience hadn’t proven anything one way or another. So when I enrolled in one of Ros Place’s courses and found out that a guardian angel reading was a thing, well let’s just say I could barely sit still until the day of my personalized reading.
I was so blown away by the accuracy of the reading that I immediately scheduled appointments for Scott and our three girls. They took my breath away, quite frankly, and prompted me to sign up for the mentored guardian angel channeling course. That didn't pan out the way I'd hoped it would, but not everything does. C'est la vie, I guess.
Fast forward to this failed attempt at a Gemini soap. As soon as I sliced it, I knew that it wasn’t at all what I’d been shooting for, but the classic angel outline was undeniable. It felt like seeing a Jesus silhouette in a potato chip, you know? I doubt I’ll ever be able to reproduce this soap again, so if guardian angels are your jam, you might want to snag one of these subtle beauties before they’re gone forever :)
