Scent: Unscented
Texture: This bar of soap seems to be very slightly textured from the madder root, but I'd still consider it to be a smooth bar of soap
Lather: A delightfully creamy lather
Washcloth test: Will leave very faint pink marks on a white washcloth due to the madder root, but I've always found them to rinse clean
Colors: Pink
Colorants: Organic madder root powder & French pink clay

Please use a well-draining soap dish with adequate airflow to ensure that your soap dries out properly between uses. Allowing your soap to sit in a puddle of water will quickly turn it to mush and shorten its lifespan significantly (and unnecessarily!).

Due to the nature of our items, we do not accept returns, but you are entitled to a full refund or replacement if your soap is somehow defective or if you’ve received the wrong item (please contact us within 3 days of receipt). One of the reasons we decided to sell our soaps is because we think they’re crazy awesome, and we’re really hoping that you will too! Story behind the name
This soap name isn't so much a Scott-ism as it is a classic family "theme," and it's a heartwarming nod to The Waltons, which my girls grew up on a steady diet of. Having watched it myself as a child, I couldn't wait to introduce them to John Boy, Olivia, Ike, and the Baldwin sisters, and I was THRILLED when they all fell head-over-heels in love with the Walton clan as I had.
How many hours did we while away, laughing at their antics as we sipped strawberry fruit smoothies and munched on popcorn? All I can say is: too many to count. The earlier seasons when Grandpa and Grandma are still alive and kicking have always been our favorites (I'm not sure any of us ever recovered from the death of dear old Grandpa), but we've watched every single episode many times over. Those heartwarming forty-five minutes gave us a glimpse into another era and could simultaneously cheer us up, calm us down, and remind us all that things don't need to be so complicated.
Even though our girls are all grown up now, the Waltons remain one of our core memories and are still, on occasion, a go-to pick-me-up. I'm not sure there's anything that can evoke such a sharp pang of nostalgia as hearing the opening notes of their classic theme song!
