  • Soap use & storage

    Please use a well-draining soap dish with adequate airflow to ensure that your soap dries out properly between uses. Allowing your soap to sit in a puddle of water will quickly turn it to mush and shorten its lifespan significantly (and unnecessarily!).

  • Refund policy

    Due to the nature of our items, we do not accept returns, but you are entitled to a full refund or replacement if your soap is somehow defective or if you’ve received the wrong item (please contact us within 3 days of receipt). One of the reasons we decided to sell our soaps is because we think they’re crazy awesome, and we’re really hoping that you will too! But in the event that you’re completely underwhelmed by our sudsy product, please don't hesitate to reach out and we'll do our best to make you happy :)

  • Story behind the name

    Second only to "chocolate," I think that "fool" (or some derivative thereof) may be Scott's favorite word in all of the English language. It's never spoken cruelly (he has other words for that; words that shall never appear on a bar of our soap!) and in fact, is often a form of... endearment. He says it to our girls all the time, and when it's directed at me,  you could replace it with something more traditional like honey, my love, or sweetie and it would mean precisely the same thing. So when I wanted to experiment with some rhubarb root infused olive oil and actually ended up with a bar worth selling (the transformation as this saponifies and cures is fabulous--from a dirty brown to a glorious pink!), we decided to dub it with the phrase/words heard here on a daily basis. So what are you waiting for? Go grab a bar... ya fool ;)
