Allergen warning
Please note that all of our products contain unrefined coconut oil, most contain unrefined sweet almond oil, and some contain unrefined shea nut butter. Please refer to the ingredients list for complete details.
This listing is for all of the bars that didn't turn out quite the way I envisioned they would. The price of experimentation, I suppose. The problem is, these are perfectly good bars of soap and I wouldn't dream of wasting all of the precious organic oils simply because the end result isn't perfection (as I imagined it to be anyway). So we use what we can and then share the rest, at a somewhat discounted price, with you. They're not a recipe I plan on repeating, so in a way they're... special. Grab'em while you can! ;)

Soap use & storage
Please use a well-draining soap dish with adequate airflow to ensure that your soap dries out properly between uses. Allowing your soap to sit in a puddle of water will quickly turn it to mush and shorten its lifespan significantly (and unnecessarily!).

Refund policy
One of the reasons we decided to sell our soaps is because we love them so stinkin’ much, and we really hope that you do too. But in the event that you’re completely underwhelmed, please contact us within 2 weeks of purchase and we’ll do our best to make it right. Any refunds issued by us will not include shipping charges.
Dang It! #1
Name: A failed attempt at The Adventure Year (which looks absolutely nothing like the bar I finally settled on!) I actually lost track of this recipe in my mad shuffle of testing recipes (surprisingly, the only one), so if you have allergies or intolerances of any kind, please skip this bar! I've only listed the ingredients that I'm 100% certain of below.
What you get: One 3.8 oz bar of soap
Scent: I was aiming for a foresty blend so it's a nice earthy scent, but I'm not certain of the essential oils used
Scented by: 100% pure & certified organic essential oils
Texture: This bar of soap is completely smooth & without texture
Lather: A clean, satisfying lather
Washcloth test: Will leave brown/green marks on a white washcloth due to the cacao powder & indigo, but I've always found them to rinse clean
Colors: Green & brown
Colorants: Organic indigo powder & organic cacao powder
Ingredients: olive oil*, water, coconut oil*, sodium hydroxide**, sweet almond oil*, castor oil*, cacao powder*, indigo powder*, rosemary antioxidant* essential oils* (*certified organic ingredient) (**none remains after saponfication) This is probably not a complete ingredient list; please see above for details.

Name: Aaaaand, the last The Meadow failure. This design is actually the first one I tried and the one we actually kept (with a tweak), but I experimented with some blue tansy essential oil to get the blue sky. Another very short story, but I say "dang it!" frequently while making soaps (or in general, actually), almost as often as Scott says "For crying out loud!" I could just as easily have picked son of a nutcracker! (thank you Elf) or dagnabbit but I guess dang it! will do.
